As I sat at my computer, my eyelids felt heavy with exhaustion. After a full day dedicated to my business and fulfilling all my responsibilities as a mom, I was struggling to stay awake. The kids were finally asleep, and I found myself in a familiar scenario—juggling the demands of being a single mom and an entrepreneur. Tonight, I was tackling my taxes, a task I found both confusing and frustrating. The intricacies of business write-offs eluded me, and the so-called "simple" instructions were anything but straightforward.
I cherished my business, as it allowed me to help others achieve their goals and find success in both life and business. It was truly a dream come true. However, as I immersed myself further into the realm of entrepreneurship, I discovered that running a business entailed much more than just the aspects I loved and excelled at. If only I could spend my days coaching, my life would be perfect. Unfortunately, there were numerous other tasks I had to tackle to ensure success, many of which I did not enjoy.
After years of trying to manage everything on my own, I realized I needed to hire help for the tasks I wasn't proficient at. It was taking me countless hours to complete these tasks, leaving me perpetually sleep-deprived and with no work-life balance. Every day was a grind, and I was on the verge of giving up on entrepreneurship. I began my search for a Virtual Assistant (VA), which itself was a time-consuming process involving hours of searching and interviewing.
Over a span of six months, I hired and trained three VAs, only for them to eventually ghost me. It was incredibly frustrating. I also hired an accountant to handle my taxes, someone who had years of experience and specialized in small businesses. Unfortunately, she made an error that ended up costing me more money. My frustration grew as the hours I spent hiring people yielded no fruitful results. Despite these setbacks, I wasn't ready to give up on my passion for coaching.
I realized that if I was facing these challenges, others must be experiencing them too. I began conversing with fellow entrepreneurs, inquiring about their hiring processes. It turned out that many of them shared my frustrations and encountered similar obstacles.
Rather than giving up, I decided to help other women entrepreneurs build their businesses by supporting woman-owned enterprises. As an empowerment coach, it made perfect sense to extend my mission of empowerment. Being a single mom, owning my own business allowed me to create a flexible schedule and be present for my children. I wanted to offer that same opportunity to other women.

I developed a directory specifically for women entrepreneurs, allowing them to list their businesses and easily find other businesses within the directory. For instance, if they needed legal support, they could simply look under the legal category, review the listed professionals, and schedule an appointment. This streamlined process saves hours of online searching before even reaching the consultation stage. The directory is accessible through my app, Women Entrepreneurs – WE Together WE Rise, and its accompanying website. The app was launched a few weeks ago, and I would love for you to join us at the start of this journey and contribute to its future success. Let me assist you in building your business.
You can download the App for both Apple and Android.
