Divorce has a way of shattering everything you thought you knew—about love, about yourself, about the future you planned so carefully. When my marriage ended, I didn’t just lose a partner. I lost a version of myself, a life I had built, and the certainty of what came next. But in that loss, I found something I never expected: a story worth telling. At first, I wrote just to survive. Journaling became my therapy, a space where I could be brutally honest about the pain, the anger, the grief, and the slow, unsteady process of rebuilding. But somewhere between the pages, I realized something—my story wasn’t just for me.

The words I had written to process my own heartbreak could help someone else navigate theirs. That realization planted the seed for what would become my business, Ever After Coaching and sparked the creation of my program - Heartbreak to Hardcover, a book coaching program that helps divorced women turn their pain into purpose by writing their own books.

Today, as a divorce recovery and writing coach, speaker, and entrepreneur, I help women reclaim their voices and rewrite their next chapter—literally. Because when we take control of our narratives, we take control of our lives.

Rebuilding My Life, One Page at a Time

When my marriage ended, I did what so many women do: I questioned everything. Was I asking for too much? Did I fail? Who am I now? Society tells us that divorce is an ending—but I believe it’s a plot twist in a story that’s still being written. And the best part? We get to decide what happens next. For me, that next chapter meant stepping into my power as a storyteller and helping other women do the same. Writing helped me process my own transformation, and now, I help women turn their heartbreak into books that heal, inspire, and impact others.

Why Your Story Matters

So many women feel like their experiences aren’t big enough or important enough to write about. They think, who would care about my story? My response? Someone needs the story you’re afraid to tell. Writing isn’t just about publishing a book—it’s about reclaiming your voice. Your story could be the roadmap someone else desperately needs. You don’t need to be a “writer” to write a book—you just need to start. I created Heartbreak to Hardcover because I know firsthand what it’s like to feel silenced, lost, and unsure of what’s next. I also know the power of putting your truth into words—and how healing it is to finally be heard.

Turning Pain into Purpose: My Mission as an Entrepreneur

Building this business wasn’t just about helping others—it was about creating something meaningful out of my own experience. I turned my mess into my mission. Through Ever After and Heartbreak to Hardcover, I work with women who have lived through divorce, trauma, or major life transitions and help them:

  • Find their story – Identify the core message that makes their book meaningful.

  • Structure & write their book – A clear, step-by-step process so they don’t feel lost.

  • Navigate publishing – Whether they want to self-publish or pursue traditional publishing.

This isn’t just coaching. It’s a movement. A mission to help women see that their stories aren’t over. That they have something valuable to say. That their voices deserve to be heard. Because your heartbreak? It wasn’t the end. It was just the beginning.
