Empowering Humanity: Thriving in the Age of AI

by Kathy Baldwin

As a Gen Z I was born and raised before Google, computers, cell phones or even debit/credit cards. When I was in high school we were forbidden from using calculators and expected that our brains were designed for computation and memorization, rather than knowledge and understanding leading to critical thinking and solutions.

We now understand that we are capable of more than we have ever been taught. Our old beliefs and systems are crumbling under the exponential speed of our understanding of the world we live in.

Quantum physics is changing our technology for satellites, computers, healthcare and even our daily lives with our personal technology.

We are being called forward and upward, which would be exciting if we weren’t tethered to the past by our conditioned responses and automatic programming (C.R.A.P.) that is trying to keep us safe and stuck right where we are.

Our brains are hardwired to keep us in the “known safety” where we can operate without conscious thoughts. When we allow the majority of our lives to become automated, this system allows our intelligence to freely be creative, innovative and imaginative.

Our safety system is wired into our emotions. Our emotions are created from the signals of our central nervous system, which takes all of the information from our over 100 identified senses (yes we have many more than the basic 5 we have been told) and produces information that we need to understand how to interpret.

Fear does NOT mean danger, retreat!

Fear means you are outside of the C.R.A.P. and your autopilot does not have a program. Pay attention and trust that you will continue to receive data to make your own informed intelligent decisions.

And therein lies your freedom.

Because the stronger the fears, the closer you are to breakthroughs. The more you understand your emotions and the signals of your body, the more sophisticated your output becomes.

We do not feel replaced when we put our clothes in the washing machine or get into our cars, or even when we reach out to someone across the world from the palm of our hands.

We welcome it and seek more of it because we have more important things to do with our time, energy and money.

AI offers unprecedented opportunities for personal and professional growth. AI is replacing our current knowledge, calling us to go both deep and higher, which only humans can do.

Societal narratives have stifled our potential, keeping us trapped in a system as workers and consumers, dictating what we can and cannot achieve. We have been taught to rely and trust others to know what is best for us.

We have not taught the language of our body, mind and soul, how to use universal laws and to become independent and empowered.

Knowledge, understanding and implementation is power and creates independence.

Empowerment is not just about personal growth; it's about leading a global shift towards collaboration, cooperation, and community. By discovering our unique gifts and contributing them to the world, we create a ripple effect of peace, passion, purpose and prosperity.

This journey requires courage to challenge the status quo, but the rewards are profound.

By embracing our strengths and leveraging technology, we can thrive in this new era, creating a future that honors both innovation and the human spirit.

So I say let AI, automation and robotics take over the mind numbing repetitive manual labor tasks. We were not born to be machines. We were born to be ALIVE and THRIVE.
